Our Commitment to:

FOREIGN MISSIONS

Because Jesus said “Go you and teach all nations” (Mat. 28:19), and again “and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”, we are committed to a world mission’s vision of active involvement in the expansion of God’s Kingdom. To that end we will work to train, equip, send and support those who will bring the ministry of the local church to our community, cities, country and throughout the world. (Acts 1:8; Luke 24:47)

Once a month, during our Sunday Worship Service we take time to pray together for our missionaries and receive a special offering for their support. We have a monthly prayer meeting as well, at the home of our missions secretaries.

Missions we support financially:

Sig and Joy Feser, Tanzania
Sig and Joy’s ministry, Pamoja, encompasses the printing and sending out vast quantities of literature to pastors and church workers in various East African countries where little or no teaching or materials are available. They also produce children's videos and teaching videos, and the rapidly expanding International School of Ministry (ISOM) Bible school via DVD in the Swahili language.

Bob and Paulette McNeal, Kenya
The Kuria Bible School is the main focus for the McNeals, administrating and teaching pastors and church workers who in turn go out and teach in local churches in Kenya. Bob and Paulette also speak at conferences and in local churches as well as assist many individuals and orphanages in the area.

William and Carol F. North Africa
For many years we have prayerfully supported William and Carol in their Marriage Seminars and church planting.  Beginning in July 07 we are supporting them financially as well.

Della Tyrrell Ministries  

Della, under the banner of Della Tyrrell Ministries, has a passion to see the body of Christ rise up to fullfill the plan and will of God, and to grow in love and service to all mankind.
While listening to what the Holy Spirit says; Della seeks to equip, ignite and impart in these areas of focus:
1.) Missions/ Humanitarian Aid - to reach out to the cries of the orphaned and disadvantaged in tangible, life giving ways; bringing people together to join forces becoming "His hands extended" to the nations.
2.) Ministry of Word - preaching and teaching
3.) Worship / Prophetic Dance - the heart of the Father expressed through the creative arts and restored to this generation.
Della's vision is to see the people of God connect to Him through the ministry of the Word and prophecy; whether by means of vocal expression or dance and to show forth the love of God by demonstrating mercy and compassion.

HOME MISSIONS:

Alan and Karen Craig, Hamilton ON Canada
The Living Rock  ministry reaches out to street-involved youth with practical support through food programs, skill training, and building relationships. These youth are often rejected or feared by society because of their appearance or reputation but the Living Rock shares God's love with them in tangible and life changing ways. Many are the testimonies of youth who have found hope, purpose and restored relationships.

Drummond House          

There is a huge need. Waiting lists for subsidized housing can be 2-4 years. Children and mothers that are in high risk situations are often living in inappropriate conditions. 21% of single-parent families are living in poverty and are at risk of becoming homeless.

Drummond House wants to provide hope.

Youth Unlimited

Youth Unlimited exists for our youth In Waterdown. Our statement is to challenge the youth. Nurturing the whole person Physically, Socially, Mentally and Spiritually, we believe in the unlimited potential of youth, thereby facilitating their growth towards:  self worth a sense of Purpose, Integrity, Respect for others willingness to serve a living faith. The challenge was to be able to connect with the youth in our community in a way which allowed me to spend more time with them.

City Kidz

We exist to transform the lives of inner city children, break the cycle of hopelessness, and end child poverty.

Our dream  is to impact 5000 children each week in Hamilton by the year 2013.   Our dream is to extend our reach coast to coast and establish a City Kidz branch or affiliate in cities found in each of Canada’s 10 provinces and 3 territories, impacting 1,000,000 children across the country.

To this we commit ourselves, to search unceasingly for the child who needs to know that someone cares, the child who needs to know they have a place in this world, that they matter, and that someone believes in them.

Crossroads

From coast to coast across Canada and reaching many countries abroad, Crossroadscontinues "a history of caring for the future" with renewed excitement. As we move into the future, we prayerfully anticipate an ever-increasing fulfillment of the original vision - to reach the lost and hurting with the hope that comes from knowing Jesus personally.
